PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To equalize impedance in a path where applied current passes with sharing a tray and a short bar with respect to plural kinds of sizes for PDPs. SOLUTION: Voltage is applied to each short bar 110, 120, 130 or 140 so that applied voltage per unit length can be uniform. According to the size of PDP 101 or 102 to be aged, voltage is applied to a terminal group only from partial length, corresponding to the region where the terminal group of the PDP is placed out of all length of each short bar, so that the impedance can be made uniform in passages where current passes through is equalized and uneveness in display will not be produced.
