PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin denomination discrimination device having high discrimination accuracy when discriminating denomination of a coin of various kinds of denomination in the middle of conveyance, having high distinction accuracy of the coin, and suitable for a compact coin depositing device. SOLUTION: This coin denomination discrimination device made of a non-magnetic material, acquiring data for discriminating the denomination while moving the coin to a prescribed position one by one includes: a rotor having a coin reception part; magnetic sensors oppositely disposed on one side of a movement passage of the coin reception part and on the side opposite to the one side; and a reference guide disposed in the periphery of the movement passage, guiding the coin.
