PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin composition which can be utilized in the field of electric insulating materials and the like, particularly, an adhesive composed of an epoxy resin which is suitably used as a transparent material. SOLUTION: The adhesive is composed of an epoxy resin composition containing a component (A) of an epoxy resin obtained by hydrogenating an aromatic epoxy resin and a component (B) of a cation polymerization initiator.
