THIN FILM TRANSISTOR SUBSTRATE AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY INCLUDING THE SAME

A thin film transistor substrate and an LCD comprising the same are provided to effectively discharge the static electricity flowing into test pads, thereby protecting inner elements of an LCD panel, by connecting the test pads to a guard ring. A thin film transistor substrate is divided into an LCD panel part(200) and a cutting region(300) for separating between LCD panels. The LCD panel part is divided into a display area(210) including a plurality of signal lines(211,212) and a non-display area(220) for applying electric signals to the signal lines. A test pad part(230) is formed in the non-display area, and applies test signals to the signal lines of the display area. A guard ring(310) is connected to the test pads in the cutting region.
