PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for manufacturing artificial zeolite having a faujasite structure in a short period in high yield. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the artificial zeolite having the faujasite structure is provided with a mixing step for mixing coal ash with an alkali aqueous solution to make slurry having a prescribed concentration and a stirring step for stirring the coal ash slurry for a prescribed time. The apparatus for manufacturing the artificial zeolite having the faujasite structure is provided with a mixing means for mixing coal ash with an alkali aqueous solution in a prescribed slurry concentration to make the coal ash slurry and a stirring means for stirring the slurry of the coal ash for the prescribed time.
