<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of easily preventing illegal use of data about personal body features by a third party when personal authentication is carried out based on the body features. <P>SOLUTION: This personal authentication system performing personal authentication based on the body features is provided with an authentication information acquisition part acquiring information about a condition, in which predetermined processing is carried out on predetermined body features of a person, as authentication information for authentication determination in authentication of the person, a registration information acquisition part acquiring information about the condition after application of the predetermined processing to the body features, which are previously registered, of the person as registration information for authentication, and an authentication determination part determining authentication of the authentication information acquired by the authentication information acquisition part based on the registration information acquired by the registration information acquisition part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
