PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a collision object in collision with the collision object from bending in a vehicle with relatively high vehicle height, for example, such as SUV and RV. SOLUTION: The collision object protection structure 10 for the vehicle 10 is provided with an absorber 14 provided on a vehicle front side of a bumper beam 12; an upper retainer 18 provided on an upper part of a radiator grill 16; and an auxiliary bumper 20 arranged below the bumper beam 12. In collision with the collision object 48, the upper retainer 18 and the auxiliary bumper 20 are moved to a front side of the vehicle by an interlocking mechanism 22 following the movement of the absorber 14 to a rear side of the vehicle. Thereby, a part 52 upper than a hinge part 50 of the collision object 48 can be supported by the radiator grill 16 moved to the front side of the vehicle by the upper retainer 18, a part 54 lower than the hinge part 50 of the collision object 48 can be supported by the auxiliary bumper 20 moved to the front side of the vehicle and the collision object 48 can be prevented from being bent at the hinge part.
