RESINOUS MEMBER FOR VALVE

A lightweight resinous member for valves which not only has high strength and is usable in a high-temperature atmosphere but also is excellent in chemical resistance and corrosion resistance. The resinous member for valves is a molded object formed from a molding material having a tensile strength at ordinary temperature of 80 to 400 MPa. It may be a molded object formed from a molding material having a tensile strength at 120°C of 75 to 350 MPa. It may be a molded object formed from a molding material comprising: a resin composition comprising an epoxy acrylate resin (A) having a hydroxy value of 60 to 100, a polyisocyanate compound (B), the amount of the compound (B) being such that the number of isocyanate groups is 0.1 to 1.5 per hydroxy group of the epoxy acrylate resin (A), a hardener (C), and an internal release agent (D); and a fibrous reinforcement (E) incorporated in the resin composition in an amount of 20 to 70% by mass.
