POWER CONTROL APPARATUS FOR OA MACHINE

A power control apparatus of an OA(Office Automation) machine is provided to automatically cut off power supply by releasing a fuse from a fuse holder when a fixing unit of a printer is overheated, thereby preventing fire due to overheating or damage of peripheral parts. An over-current cutoff unit(30) is installed between a power supply unit(10) and an operating unit(20) needing high temperature control for preventing an over-current from flowing in the operating unit, having a fuse(31) and a fuse holder(32). A power supply cutoff unit(40) automatically cuts off power supply when the operating unit is abnormally operated. The power supply cutoff unit includes a sensor(41) sensing a temperature of the operating unit, a separating unit(42) separating the fuse from the fuse holder, and a control unit(43) selectively operating the separating unit according to the temperature inputted from the sensor.
