PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the lift amount of a ball valve in a three-way solenoid valve driving a flow passage selecting part using the ball valve by a solenoid. SOLUTION: A discharge side partition wall 18 partitioning an output chamber 15 from a discharge chamber 16 is formed to be movable from a position where a step valve 28 is seated on the seat part 22a of a discharge valve port 22 into the output chamber 15. When the solenoid valve is energized and while a shaft 5 is being moved, the step valve 28 is seated on the seat part 22a of the discharge valve port 22, and the discharge side partition wall 18 is pressed by the step valve 28 to move into the output chamber 15. Accordingly, the lift amount of the ball valve 4 is increased. Even if the discharge side partition wall 18 is pushed back due to the rise of an input hydraulic pressure, the discharge side partition wall 18 abuts on a valve base 3. Then, a hydraulic pressure received by the discharge side partition wall 18 is received by the valve base 3, a push-back force received by the shaft 5 is reduced, and the discharge valve port 22 is not opened. Even if a magnetic attractive force is generated by a dark current when a current is not passed, the shaft 5 is pushed back by the hydraulic pressure received by the discharge side partition wall 18 to securely return the shaft.
