PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure blood components with a minute quantity of blood by efficiently introducing the blood bled by a puncture needle to a measuring part. SOLUTION: The blood component measuring device 10 has a blood measuring chip 20 including the puncture needle 18 at an end of a casing 16, and an introduction nozzle 94 with an inlet 110 for introducing the blood is rotatable disposed in a holder block of the blood measuring chip 20 along the surface crossing the axis of the puncture needle 18. The introduction nozzle 94 is rotated and displaced after the skin of a measured person is punctured with the puncture needle 18, and the puncture needle 18 is retreated from an abutting part 74. Then, the inlet 110 comes to a position facing the blood of the skin, so that the blood is guided from the inlet 110 to test paper. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
