PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric cleaner capable of compatibly suppressing the loss of a control element and securing the using service life of a DC fan motor. SOLUTION: The switching loss of the control element 17 can be suppressed by suppressing a PWM frequency for control of the control element 17 when the power of the DC fan motor 2 is increased, a peak current is suppressed and the using service life of the DC fan motor 2 is secured by increasing the PWM frequency for the control of the control element 17 when the power of the DC fan motor 2 is reduced, and the suppression of the loss of the control element 17 and the securing of the using service life of the DC fan motor 2 are compatibly achieved.
