ANTHRAQUINONE DERIVATIVE EXERTING LIPASE ACTIVATING EFFECT AND ANTIOBESITY DRUG, FOOD PREPARATION AND COSMETIC COMPRISING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anthraquinone derivative having reduced adverse effect and exerting a lipases activating effect which manifests an excellent decreasing effect on neutral fats, and to provide an excellent antiobesity drug, a food preparation and a cosmetic comprising the derivative.

SOLUTION: The anthraquinone derivative is a compound comprising a steroid originating from vegetable and anthraquinone. The compound obtained by fermenting pulverized product of seeds, leaves or roots of Rumex japonicus, pulverized product of soy beans by Bacillus natto and then reducing the product with alkali. The antiobesity drug comprises the anthraquinone derivative exerting decreasing effect on neutral fats as a principal component. The cosmetic exerts the decreasing effect on neutral fats and comprising the anthraquinone derivative. The food preparation exerting the decreasing effect on neutral fats comprises 0.001-0.01 pts.wt. of an extract of Banaba (Lagerstroemia speciosa L Pers.) leaves and 0.01-1 pts.wt. of an extract of persimmon leaves per 1 pts.wt. of the anthraquinone derivative.
