PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dramatically enhance the efficiency of using light in comparison with the conventional technology by preventing the drastic lowering of the efficiency of using light shown in the conventional manner. SOLUTION: A system where a panel is directly observed with a magnifier in the conventional manner is improved to obtain the optical system where a primarily enlarged image by an image formation system is superposed on the conventional panel position. By setting NA coincide with the angle of a principal ray, the efficiency of using illuminating light is enhanced.
