<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane essentially consisting of apatite and having excellent biological affinity, and a member having the membrane in extremely simple, highly operable processes. <P>SOLUTION: The apatite membrane can be formed by a process where the surface of a base material is coated with a solution composition comprising a calcium compound and a phosphorous compound in a polar solvent or a solution composition obtained by dissolving a calcium phosphate compound and apatite into a polar solvent, where the Ca/P containing ratio is controlled to 1.0 to 3.0, and heat treatment is performed, or a process where the surface of a heated base material is coated with the solution composition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
