PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To timely notify a user using an image forming device that it is time when production of an expendable agent is ended as service information useful to an expendable member used in the image forming device.

SOLUTION: The service information including a support period to the expendable member expended according to image formation of a printer 101 is stored in a nonvolatile memory 103, a CPU 201 decides whether notification time of toner low that is state information to the expendable member from the printer 101 is within an expendable article end period that is a specific period during the supply period or not, and contents of expendable member information to be notified to an output device 204 is changed on the basis of a decision result thereof.
