The method involves displaying a dynamic cursor in a downtime in an unobtrusive form e.g. normal form, and movement-dependently changing a distinctive feature such that one of feature characteristics of size, color, form and flash frequency is changed. The feature is increased and impaired with amount of change of direction, abruptness of the change of direction and frequency of the change of direction within a time interval.
