<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass run which is easily attached to a door frame, and excellent in sealability and sound insulation at a corner part. <P>SOLUTION: A body of the glass run 10 has a substantially U-shaped section consisting of a vehicular exterior side wall 20, a vehicular interior side wall 30, and a bottom wall 40. A vehicular interior side retaining lip 24 to be retained by a recess of a door frame 2 is provided on an exterior surface of the vehicular interior side wall of a straight portion of the glass run. Vehicular interior side retaining lips 34a, 34b of a substantially L-shape in front view which are bent along the angle of a corner part are formed on the corner part 12 of the glass run. A tip of the vehicular interior side retaining lip 34b is continuous to a vehicular interior side retaining lip 34 of a longitudinal side part, and a tip of the other vehicular interior side retaining lip 34a is continuous to the vehicular interior side retaining lip 34 on an upper side part. The rigidity of the vehicular interior side retaining lips 34a, 34b of a corner part of the glass run for automobile is set to be smaller than the rigidity of the vehicular interior side retaining lip 34 of a straight portion thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
