PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily prepare an album image with a feeling of uniformity. SOLUTION: When color tone-correcting a photographic image, and compositing it with a template image, a color difference between the representative color of the photographic image and the color of the template image is calculated. A tone color correction value is calculated from the calculated color difference, and the photographic image is color tone-corrected, and composited with the template image. When performing grouping to the photographic images, whether or not the photographic image is suitable as the photographic image to be composited with the template image according to whether or not the above color difference is turned to be within a reference range, and the photographic image decided to be suitable is composited with the template image.
