PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal drastically improving sound quality in a panel speaker structure while preventing a protecting panel from dropping off caused by impact such as a fall, with respect to the mobile terminal wherein an LCD device is housed and installed inside a device case, an opening facing a display screen of the LCD device is formed in the device case, and the panel speaker, to which a vibrating element is attached, is provided on an inner face of the protecting panel covering the display screen of the LCD device and closing the opening for viewing. SOLUTION: On a board which is housed and installed inside a device case and packaged with the LCD device, a supporting frame formed of a sheet metal material in the shape of frame along with the edge of a protecting panel is installed, the protecting panel is held on the supporting frame through a suspension member, and a flange covering the edge of the protecting panel on its outer face over all the circumference is formed on the device case.
