Multi-layer foil (1) comprises a barrier layer (2), a stretch-poor plastic layer (3) on one side of the barrier layer, an antistatic plastic layer (4) on the reverse side of the barrier layer and a layer containing a safe material (5) for food is arranged next to the antistatic plastic layer and at the reverse of the barrier layer, where the thickness of the layer with safe material (5) and antistatic layer is 5-20 mu m and 10-150 mu m, respectively. An independent claim is included for a flexible container comprising a lining made of the foil.
