PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaphragm carburetor for actualizing proper operation by correcting a change of an air-fuel ratio with the attitude of the carburetor. SOLUTION: The diaphragm carburetor comprises a diaphragm 5 provided in a diaphragm chamber 4 of a carburetor body 1 for partitioning it into an atmosphere chamber 4a and a fuel chamber 4b, and an adjusting mechanism 14 provided on a metering lever 10a and having a weight 17 for correcting a change of the diaphragm 5 due to the attitude of the carburetor about the opening/closing amount of an inlet needle 6a mounted at the other end of the metering lever 10a which has one end abutting on the diaphragm 5 for rocking around a pin shaft 12 supported on the carburetor body 1.
