PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of a pressing force to a heat exchanging core part H by enlarging a central side in a longitudinal direction of a frame 41 with a spring reaction force. SOLUTION: This electric heater comprises a heat exchanging core part H having an energizing and heat-generating element array 43 and a heat-exchanging fin constituting element 42 laminated, frames 41 opposed to each other on both ends in a laminating direction of the heat-exchanging core part H, a pressing spring 45 arranged between the heat-exchanging core part H and the frames 41, and a resin housing 46 fitted to both ends in the longitudinal direction of the frames 41 in a manner to be opposed from the outside in the longitudinal direction. An auxiliary spring 48 bridged across both of the frames 41 are provided between the resin housings 46, so that the heat-exchanging core part H is pressed from both sides of the lamination direction. Thereby, the central side in the longitudinal direction of the frames 41 is not enlarged by the reaction force of the pressing spring 45 by bridging the auxiliary spring 48, so as to secure the pressing force to the heat-exchanging core part H.
