<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print parameter converting method capable of converting printing condition to suitable condition corresponding to every printing medium, even when one image printing device allows a plurality of printing media and an allowable printing condition for every printing medium is different. <P>SOLUTION: In the print parameter converting method, a printing device is connected to an external device, receives image information and printing condition from the external device to execute printing, retains the information of print permission conditions retaining the scope of recognizable print condition, retains a plurality of printing condition converting information to convert the print condition to other print conditions which can be printed with a printing device, converts the print conditions received from the external device based on the print condition converting information, and also converts the print conditions to the recognizable print conditions when the printing condition after the conversion process overrides the printing condition recognizable with the printing device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
