<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration in transmission quality of transmitted data by optimizing the transmitted power of a spectrum spread modulated signal of a pilot signal including control information needed for communication. <P>SOLUTION: A pilot modulator 16 is provided which subjects the control information extracted from the pilot signal to spectrum spread modulation, and adjusts the transmitted power of the spectrum spread modulated signal according to the control information. Then M spectrum spread modulated signals are generated from transmitted data according to 2<SP>N</SP>orthogonal code series, and the M spectrum spread modulated signals and the spectrum spread modulated signal are multiplexed whose transmitted power is adjusted by the pilot modulation section 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
