PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a game control means and a putout control means to surely execute initialization processing corresponding to an operation to a clear switch in a game machine in which a game control board and a putout control board are separately provided. SOLUTION: Whether or not clear signals are outputted from the clear switch is judged when power supply to the game machine is started, and delay processing of delaying the execution start of game control processing at least until the execution of putout control processing is started is executed after the clear signals are judged. Also, since the occurrence of the putout error of game media is judged when a difference of the number of times of the transmission of prize ball number signals from the number of winnings reaches a prescribed value for error detection, burdens required for judging the putout error are light. In game state restoration processing, since a restoration command is transmitted only to a variable display device which was during variable display when power was interrupted among a plurality of variable display devices, the number of commands is reduced.
