<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a manufacturing cost of a laser printer by holding down the cost of a die (amount of capital investment). <P>SOLUTION: In addition to axis support holes 105a and 58a for supporting gears composing a forward reverse switching mechanism, axis support holes 105b and 58b are provided for supporting gears of a gear system having no forward reverse switching mechanism. By this arrangement, the gear system having no forward reverse switching mechanism can be composed using the existing body frame 100a and the support cover, thereby making it possible to commoditize the body frame 100a and the support cover for different gear systems. This can reduce kinds of dies for molding the body frame 100a and the support cover, and hold down the cost of dies (facility investment cost), thereby reducing the manufacturing cost of a laser printer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
