<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of judging existence or nonexistence of damage of an on-off valve (an air introduction valve) installed in a connection passage connecting a fuel gas supply passage and an oxidant gas supply passage and judging existence or nonexistence of generation of cross leak between an anode side and a cathode side in a fuel cell stack. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system includes a voltmeter 51 for detecting a value of generated power voltage in power generation of a fuel cell stack 10, and a controller 50 for judging existence or nonexistence of failure in the air introduction valve 42, based on voltage information from the voltmeter 51, and the controller 50 judges that when the fuel cell stack 10 generates electric power in a state that the air introduction valve 42 is closed and a value of generated power voltage is judged that it is lower than the prescribed value, based on the voltage information from the voltmeter 51, failure to open the air introduction valve 42 occurs. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
