A wild animal protection device for highways comprises guide stakes (2) to the side of the highway which deflect by means of reflectors (3) a portion of the light signals leaving the vehicle into the regions to the side of the highway, in order to warn wild animals of approaching vehicles. In order to more securely prevent approaching wild animals from crossing the highway, it is proposed to arrange the preferably round reflectors (3) in pairs adjacently in imitation of a pair of eyes.<IMAGE> |
