<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keyless entry device capable of surely measuring strength, even when signal strength is feeble by minimizing communication data. <P>SOLUTION: A vehicle side transmission part 11 transmits a first signal of putting a portable machine 3 in a starting state and a second signal transmitted at a predetermined interval in predetermined order from a plurality of transmission antennas 15 and 15 after the first signal. The portable machine 3 has a portable machine control part 22 transmitting information on the detected strength to a portable machine transmission part 21 by detecting the respective strengths of the second signal by starting by the first signal.
