PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form an image having good image quality without causing offset. SOLUTION: A developer is disclosed. A temperature at which after the developer is subjected to heat history, its viscosity becomes 0.5×10<SP>5</SP>(Pa s) is 100-140°C and the temperature is higher than a temperature at which before the developer is subjected to the heat history, its viscosity becomes 0.5×10<SP>5</SP>(Pa s) by 0-10°C.
