PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To find a gloss using a surface shape of a toner-printed matter, in place of a conventional method of finding the gloss of the toner-printed matter only by measuring a regular reflectance of actual light. SOLUTION: A gloss level relation between the toner-printed matters is determined quantitatively by a distribution condition of a normal in each part on a surface of the toner-printed matter, and eclipse of regular reflection light.
