A method for transmitting an image obtained by a mobile phone to a facsimile is provided to convert the image into a facsimile image improving transmission acceleration of the image, thereby transmitting texts, documents or images to a facsimile of the other side without using a facsimile in a state of maintaining an original form. Data formed of a text, a format, or an image file photographed by a camera mounted at a mobile phone(10) and reception information inputted by key operation of the mobile phone are transmitted to a receiving module(31) of an image converting system(30) through a mobile communication company(20). Packets of the data received by the receiving module are analyzed to separate the file and the reception information to generate a thread. A physical file of the received file is stored on a file converting module(33). It is judged whether the received file is an image type. If so, the corresponding file information is stored on a storage device(34) with the reception information. The file is converted into a facsimile image improving transmission acceleration of an image by the file converting module when the file is transmitted to a facsimile(50) so that the converted file is stored on the file converting module and the storage device. A document and the file stored on the storage device and the file converting module are transmitted to a terminal(40) or the facsimile of the other side through a mail ASP(Application Service Provider)(45) or a facsimile ASP(55).
