A tripod for a portable device strap is provided to achieve aesthetic enhancement by permitting each leg to have an outer surface with an arc-shape and forming a circle from outer surfaces of legs when the legs are folded. A tripod for a portable device strap, comprises a support member(9) for supporting a portable device; legs(11) for maintaining the support member at a predetermined posture; a cover for opening/closing the support member; and a portable device connecting string arranged at the cover. Each leg has an outer surface with an arc-shape which forms a circle when being folded.
