A speaker coupling structure of a television is provided to secure a clearance for a speaker to move backward by a predetermined distance in response to backward sound impact, thereby sufficiently absorbing the backward sound impact and prevent the television from shaking. A speaker coupling structure of a television includes a front mask(30) having a boss(31) protruded from a rear surface thereof. A buffering element(32) partially covers a top surface of the boss while surrounding an outer peripheral surface of the boss. A coupling element(33) is extended from a speaker and fitted with an outer peripheral surface of the buffering element. A screw(34) presses the buffering element and is coupled in the boss. A clearance distance is formed along a length of the buffering element or a slant surface of the screw so that the speaker moves back by sound impact and returns to its original position by elasticity of the buffering element.
