CONFIGURATION OF SOLID-STATE OXIDE FUEL CELL STACK

FIELD: disposition of flat solid-state oxide fuel cells in stack having improved set of channels. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed fuel cell stack has alternating plates of solid-state oxide fuel cells and gas flow separating plates accommodated in case. Each fuel-cell plate has through holes which are aligned with respective holes in adjacent separating plates. First leveled set of holes in fuel cell plates and in gas flow separating plates is open with respect to anode end of each fuel cell plate to form first inlet fuel gas channel. Second leveled set of holes in fuel cell plates and in gas flow separating plates is open in direction from anode end of each fuel cell plate to form second spent fuel gas channel. Third input air channel is formed between stack and case and is open with respect to cathode end of each fuel cell. Fourth outlet air channel is formed between stack and case and is open in direction from cathode end of each fuel cell. Best design alternate has third leveled set of holes in plates open in direction from anode end of each fuel cell to form second waste fuel gas channel, and second outlet air channel is formed between stack and case. Fiber seals provided between stack and case for sliding provide for separating air channels. ^ EFFECT: simplified set of channels in fuel cell stack and facilitated sealing of the latter. ^ 24 cl, 7 dwg
