Electrical mechanism adapter to a raceway moulding, of the type which attaches in a section of the raceway moulding where the cover section thereof has been removed, and which includes a quadrangular support base (2), a cover housing (3) and an detachable lid (4). Quadrangular support base (2) has an extension (7) from which two flat toggled arms (8) extend intended to clamp the base section of the raceway moulding. Detachable lid (4) has first retention means (23, 23A) with respect to flat toggled arms (8) and second retention means (27) with respect to longitudinal grooves in the base section of the raceway moulding. Cover housing (3) is provided with a visor (19) which is applied to detachable lid (4) imprisoning it.
