<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform coupling action by lighter force, to allow determination of completion of the coupling action by a sensation of the hands, and to prevent easy uncoupling once it is coupled in a waterproof electric connector provided with rubber-made insulating waterproof male/female covers having an inner serrated face and an outer serrated face. SOLUTION: Thickness of a cylindrical female part of the waterproof male cover is reduced. The inclination of an annular forward face part of one serrated face is formed steeper than the inclination of an annular forward face part of another serrated face, and its height is formed in a size larger than the depth of a corresponding trough. The height size of the other serrated face is formed the same or smaller than the depth size of a corresponding trough of the one serrated face. By this, excessive insertion of an engagement male part into the cylindrical female part is allowed during coupling.</p> |
