A conveying system is provided to improve conveying efficiency and convey a lot of plate type members at one time by stacking a receiving tray. A conveying system includes a transferring apparatus(6) and a receiving tray(20). The transferring apparatus includes a transferring roller(60), a lifting unit(62), and a plate type member(2). The transferring apparatus stacks and conveys the receiving tray having the plate type member along a conveying passage. The transferring apparatus transfers the plate type member for the receiving tray. The transferring roller drives and conveys the plate type member. The lifting unit changes a relative position of the transferring roller and the receiving tray upward/downward. The receiving tray has a penetration hole which allows the transferring roller to pass upward/downward direction. The plate type member is transferred from the transferring hole through the penetration hole.
