An apparatus for dropping a liquid crystal and a method for manufacturing an LCD using the same are provided to drop accurate amount of the liquid crystal and prevent the contamination of the liquid crystal, by removing bubbles from the liquid crystal dropped on a substrate using a deaerator. An apparatus for dropping a liquid crystal comprises a liquid crystal dropper for dropping a liquid crystal on a substrate and a deaerator(170). The deaerator removes bubbles, which are mixed in the liquid crystal dropped on the substrate. The liquid crystal dropper includes a liquid crystal container, a discharging pump for absorbing and discharging the liquid crystal, and a nozzle for dropping the liquid crystal discharged from the discharging pump. |
