SLIDING MODULE FOR PORTABLE TERMINAL

A sliding module of a portable terminal is provided to make both ends of guide rods capable of linear and rotary motions, connected on a sliding guide, supported on a sliding plate, thereby pursuing the diversity of a driving unit so as to move the sliding plate by making the linear and rotary motions be changed each other. A sliding module(200) of a portable terminal comprises the followings: a sliding guide(201) which is mounted on a first housing; a sliding plate(202) which is mounted on a second housing and slides, facing the sliding guide(201); guide rods(203) which are slidably connected to the sliding guide(201) in a width direction as being slidably connected to the sliding plate(202); driving units(204) which rotate the guide rods(203); and a unit(231) which slides the guide rod(203) on the sliding guide(201) according as the guide rod(203) is rotated.
