<p>The rotating electrical machine incorporates a rotor shaft which contains a heat tube and applies to both low and high voltage machines. The machine has a stationary cylindrical stator (2) fitted in the machine housing (3). The rotor (6) is rotatably arranged in the stator. The machine housing comprises a cylindrical casing with a circular first bearing shield (8) at one end and a circular second bearing shield at the other end. Cooling flanges (10) are provided on the casing, parallel with the rotor drive shaft (A). On the non-driving end (N) of the rotor outside the first end surface and outside the inner cooling circuit is an outer fan (11) which follows the rotor rotation movement. The fan is protected from external effect by a cover (12). The heat tube (14) in the rotor shaft has an elongated hollow inner space, which is preferably sealed and is arranged to receive a work medium (15). The work medium, a gas and fluid, is held at feed pressure when it is in the gas phase. Evaporation parts of the heat tube are placed within the housing, whilst condensing parts are partly outside the housing. Magnetic parts (18), such as windings or permanent magnets, are fitted on the supporting shaft.</p> |
