A combo apparatus having an illumination device is provided to smoothly confirm the discharge state of the loaded and discharged printing paper. An image reading apparatus(110) forms the upper portion of a combo apparatus and reads the manually or automatically supplied reading medium. An image forming apparatus(120) is arranged at the lower portion of the image reading apparatus and forms an image on the supplied printing paper. A control panel is arranged at the front of the image reading apparatus and controls the various functions of the combo apparatus. A discharge member(130) is arranged between the image reading apparatus and the image forming apparatus so that the printing paper discharged from a discharge roller(126) of the image forming apparatus is loaded.
