<p>A battery device and an electronic apparatus where the battery device with characteristics corresponding to the electronic apparatus can be appropriately installed in the apparatus and that are advantageous in reducing sizes and improving operability. An identification section (18) of a battery device (100) is a section for identifying characteristics of the battery device (100) and is provided at an end surface (1022), at portions on both sides in the width direction (W) of a battery-side terminal (14). The identification section (18) is composed of recesses (1802, 1804) for identification formed in an open manner in the end surface (1022). At least one of the positions, cross-sectional shapes, and lengths of the identification recesses (1802, 1804) in the end surface (1022) is formed according to the characteristics of the battery device (100). In an example, the cross- sectional shape and length of the identifying recess (1802) of the identification section (18) are formed according to the characteristics of the battery device (100).</p> |
