SUSPENSION ASSEMBLY OF THE ACTUATOR FOR HARD DISK DRIVE

A suspension assembly of an actuator for an HDD(Hard Disc Drive) is provided to prevent impact with a disc by restraining the freedom index of the slider in unloading. A load tongue(141) is combined to an end part of a swing arm formed in an actuator, and is extended along a longitudinal direction of the swing arm. A dimple(145) convexly protruded to a disc is formed near a leading edge of the load tongue(141). A flexure(143) is extended to a front side along a longitudinal direction of the load tongue(141) from a trailing edge part combined to the load tongue(141). The flexure(143) has one surface and the other surface. The one surface of the flexure(143) is contacted with the dimple(145). A slider(149) is supported to the other surface of the flexure(143). An attachment and detachment type limiter(150) selectively varies the strength of the flexure(143) in which the slider(149) is mounted by mutually attaching or detaching the load tongue(141) and the flexure(143) which are mutually faced. The movement of the slider(149) is restrained according to an attachment operation of the limiter(150) during an unloading operation in which the slider(149) is moved to the outside of the disc. The movement of the slider(149) is freely permitted according to a detachment operation of the limiter(150) in a state when the slider(149) is loaded on the disc.
