A mobile communication terminal having a call limitation function and a call limitation method thereof are provided to automatically intercept call receiving and originating when a user unconsciously attempts a call by using the mobile communication terminal during driving, thereby contributing to safe driving. A mobile communication terminal having a function of limiting a call during driving comprises the followings: a first temperature sensor(21) which is mounted on the outside of the folder of the mobile communication terminal and detects a temperature; second and third temperature sensors(22,23) which are mounted on both sides of the main body of the mobile communication terminal and detect a temperature; a wireless communication part(30) which performs communication by using a vehicle speed control device, mounted in a vehicle, and Bluetooth; and a control part(40) which analyzes a temperature value, measured by first to third temperature sensors(21,22,23) if the wireless communication part(30) determines that the vehicle is in a driving mode, and determines whether line is engaged, and automatically intercepts call originating and receiving if the line is engaged.
