The protocol is for polymerase chain reaction for detection and identification of Pseudomonas anguilliseptica with the use of pure cultures of the micro-organism and fish tissues. The protocol is characterized by the use of initiators in the form of specific oligonucleotides for this type of bacteria directed to concrete regions of the gene. Optimal conditions are established of the different measures of amplification of the DNA.
