The invention relates to inorganic chemistry and can be used in technologies of producing iodine and derivatives thereof from natural brine. A method for iodine withdrawing from the natural brine comprises preliminary purification, acidulation of brine, oxidation of iodine ion to elementary form, withdrawing iodine by desorption, merging iodine from obtained iodine-air mixture and subsequent isolation of elementary iodine. In preliminary purification a deep deironing in acid transition and oxidized medium, oxidation of iodine-ion to the elementary form and isolation of elementary iodine in acid medium with use of hydrogen peroxide are carried out, and merging iodine from iodineûair mixture is carried out with solution of alkali in the presence of hydrogen peroxide. Realizing the said method allows to withdraw from natural brine 95-98 % of useful product, which crystals contain to 99.6 % of elementary iodine.
