The installation has a fuel cell having a cathode and an anode, respectively, supplied with a combustive fuel and a fuel. A burner is supplied with an anodic used fuel. A turbine (40) has a cathodic evacuation pipe connected to an exhaust gas pipe (36) in the upstream of the turbine such that the turbine is driven by a warm mixture of a cold cathodic used combustive fuel and a hot exhaust gas. A heat exchanger (42) transmits a part of the heat of the mixture to a cold cathodic used combustive fuel or a cold anodic used fuel, and an exhaust gas upgrading system is arranged in the pipe (36).
