<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time necessary for calibration of quantities of light of exposure light sources in exposure heads. <P>SOLUTION: Quantities of light of light beams L emitted from the exposure light sources 30 in the first exposure head 13 and second exposure head 14 are measured respectively by a first quantity of light measuring device 34 and a second quantity of light measuring device 35. At the same time, a signal level of an emission signal for making the exposure light sources 30 emit light is determined on the basis of the result of the measured quantities of light.
